Hope Volunteer firefighters responded to the crash just after 9:05 a.m. and found that a car had completely torn through the home’s porch before slamming into a nearby fence, the department said.
One person suffered minor injuries in the crash, which the department determined was caused by extremely icy road conditions.
The scene was cleared in under an hour.
